DESCRIPTION:Performing live at Hotel Turkey March 1st @7pm \nKeegan McInroe is a writer\, musician. and international touring artist based in Fort Worth\, Texas. \nKeeping in spirit with his predecessor troubadouring minstrels\, Keegan has spent the better part of the last two decades traversing the roads\, wildernesses\, and cities of the Old World and New\, weaving the resulting experiences and observations together with varied influences from folk\, country\, and the blues to create an original and evolving tapestry of story-driven American roots music.   \nMcInroe has shared the stage with Leon Russell\, Ray Wylie Hubbard\, Willis Alan Ramsey\, Otis Taylor\, Carolyn Wonderland\, Ian Moore\, Shovels & Rope\, Kaitlin Butts\, Charley Crockett\, and others.   \nHe has been published in various papers and magazines for his travel writings\, stories\, poems\, and occasional forays into politics. Additionally\, he has hosted The Keegan McInroe Radio Hour and The Uncouth Pilgrim Podcast\, both of which are currently on indefinite hiatus.\n\n \n\n\n\nI discovered West Texas Music in the early 90’s when I arrived in Lubbock from Houston.  \nSince then I’ve been fortunate to join the 806 scene\, sharing the stage with Terry Allen\, Fred Eaglesmith\, Wayne ‘The Train’ Hancock\, Susan Gibson\, Cary Swinney\, Brandon Adams & the Sad Bastards\, and many others. \n Thanks for supporting original songwriting. \n

DESCRIPTION:Performing live at Hotel Turkey March 2nd at 7pm! \nPart Texas\, part Bakersfield\, part old school and new\, Jenni Dale Lord Band has created a style all its own\, blending elements of country\, rock\, and blues into one tasty emulsification. \nJenni Dale Lord rocked the live music capital of the world\, Austin\, Texas\, for over a decade\, but has since returned to her roots in Lubbock to claim her place in the West Texas music scene.  After years of writing music on her own\, Jenni Dale rounded up a group of amazing musicians to take her songs and set them on fire. Their high-energy and heartstring-pulling show entertains audiences far and wide. \nJenni Dale Lord Band includes acoustic guitar\, electric guitar\, bass\, keys\, and drums\, but often brings in guest players and instruments. With four successful albums and several charted radio singles\, including collaborations with the incomparable Joe Ely\, Kenny Maines\, Darrin Morris\, and Billie Jo Jones\, the band recently released their fifth studio album\, In the Dance. The album contains three top 40 radio singles\, and its fourth single\, It Takes One to Know One (featuring Billie Jo Jones)\, was just released and will no doubt climb the Texas Regional Radio Report\, which is recognized by Billboard Magazine. \nRecognized by the Texas Regional Radio Music Association\, Jenni Dale Lord has received several nominations for new female vocalist of the year\, and most recently\, female vocalist of the year. They both became interested in folk music and songwriting in college and began to collaborate while attending the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
