Hotel Turkey is a historic property located in Turkey, Texas, where every guest is both important and special to us. Please read through our policies below.

TABC laws restrict guests from bringing alcohol into hotel public areas. Alcoholic beverages consumed in hotel public areas must be purchased through the Hotel Turkey.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Bookings will be charged 7 days prior to arrival or at the time of booking if within the 7 days.

Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. Our receptionists are instructed to follow this policy and rules. So to save any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you can observe the following:

• 100% of your stay will be charged 7 days prior to arrival.
• Individual room reservations must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival and special group reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to arrival to avoid being charged for your entire stay.
• Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to your stay will be refunded the deposit if one was collected.
• In the event that your stay is refunded outside of the cancellation window, there will be a cancellation fee applied.
• For Full property bookings, special events, holidays and Bob Wills Day bookings we require a sixty (60) day cancellation notice.
• In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable.
• All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.
• For Full property bookings, special events, holidays and Bob Wills Day bookings we require a sixty (60) day cancellation notice.

Rates

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special events.

The standard booking price includes the following:

• All taxes (state occupancy 6%, local occupancy 6%)
• All hotel amenities and facilities as mentioned on our website pages and in our correspondence

Breakfast

Breakfast is available on site. Breakfast is not included with your stay unless purchased with booking or with a special rate package.

Housekeeping Services

Housekeeping services available for multiple night bookings upon REQUEST ONLY.

Minimum Stay

Minimum stay required during peak periods.

Check-in / Check-Out

Check-in: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. If arriving outside of check-in times, please note that we may leave a self check-in packet on the front desk! Feel free to call with your arrival time!

Check-out: 11am.

Check-in and Check-out details will be emailed to you before your arrival!

Extending Your Stay

After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive or during your stay.

If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please inquire at the front desk. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary. Remember, we are usually completely booked on Fridays & Saturdays, so please consider this when booking!  

If you are looking for a late check out, please inquire at the front desk. Some days we are unable to accommodate this request. A fee may be added to your room for a late check out.

Smoking

SMOKING IN ROOMS IS NOT PERMITTED AND VIOLATORS WILL BE CHARGED A FLAT CLEANING OF $375 AND WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RETURN TO HOTEL TURKEY.

Pets

Are we pet friendly? You bet! A maximum of two pets are allowed per room, and will incur a pet fee. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area and stay on a leash when outside the room. Our Container accomodations are not pet friendly. Sorry … no pets in the dining room or on the Patio (that’s the health department’s call and we’ve gotta heed their rules). We do have designated areas that you can dine with your pets! Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time. You may have your pet on our front porch or in the grassy area outback if well behaved. If your dog is barking or bothering customers, we will ask you to leave the public area.

Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, a cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file in the amount of $100. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to your credit card on file. No cats or venomous creatures.

Children

Children are always welcome! Remember, most of our spaces were built in 1927, so there is not a lot of extra space in our rooms. If you are looking for more room, our Containers are the place for you!

Parking

Parking is available in several places near the Hotel.  We have parking beside and across the street as well as other designated areas.  Please let us know if you are parking more than just a vehicle.  The Hotel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.  However, Turkey is a very safe area and we rarely have anyone bother others!

Arrivals & Departures
– Full payment required at time of reservation for daily and weekly guest, 1st month required for monthly reservations
– Check-in Time is 1:00 pm
– Check-out Time is 12:00 pm
– Monthly payments are due in full on the same day of arrival each month
Refunds/Cancellations
– A full refund will be given if daily/weekly reservation canceled at least 7 days ahead of your arrival date
– A full refund will be given if monthly reservation canceled at least 14 days ahead of your arrival date
– A 50% refund will be given if monthly reservation canceled less than 14 days ahead of your arrival date
– No refunds on early departures (standard or ongoing reservations)
– Please give us at least 7 days notice when ending a long term (ongoing) reservation. No fees apply for ending a long term reservation.
General Rules
– Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am
– We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone
– We do not guarantee the same site, if you choose to extend. Check with the reservation portal for possible extension
– If payment is not received by the close of the 3rd day after due date, power and water will be turned off. Guest will be responsible for $45.00 reactivation fee
– While on the property, please put all cigarette butts and trash in the proper container
– Hotel Turkey is in no way liable for any loss or damage by fire, wind, theft, accident or any other cause to the personal possessions of tenant or their guests
– Place garbage in plastic bags, tie, and place in the dumpster 
– No semi trucks
– No boats
– We reserve the right to refuse continued residency privileges to “offenders” of park rules
– Guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors
– Owner reserves the right to change the rules without notice
Parking and Vehicles
– ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON CHURCH PROPERTY – INCLUDING PARKING LOT DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM CHURCH
-Two (2) vehicle limit on each site plus your RV
– All vehicles must be in operational condition
– Do not allow any vehicles to protrude from RV site into the flow of traffic
– No Parking in vacant RV sites
– No parking in grass (campers or cars)
Rig and/or Site Appearance
– All spaces must maintain a CLEAN and tidy appearance
– Do not hang towels, bathing suits, clothes line and/or clothes outside your RV
– Space around and under RV shall be kept neat and free from rubbish, trash, and other items. Garbage and refuse shall be promptly taken to the resort dumpster by the guest.
– We reserve the right to refuse service to any rig based upon its appearance and/or condition
– It is mandatory that your sewer and/or gray water hose have a sewer connection (sewer collar/donut) attached to prevent sewer gasses from escaping
– No open flames or fire pits (small personal BBQ grills are allowed)
– Outdoor items should be neat and orderly
– No tires, 55-gallon drums, generators, refrigerators, freezers, coolers and other storage containers are allowed on your site. Storage containers under rig allowed maintained in neat appearance
– Keep all cords, cables and hoses coiled and bundled
– No light duty extension cords allowed
– No tarps
– Sites who are not keeping these standards will be subject to a $20/week fine
Pet Rules
– All pets to be on a leash in owner’s hand at all times while walking in the park
– Clean up after your pet
– Pets are not allowed in the buildings
– Pets must not dig holes or otherwise create an unsightly appearance on Lot
– Pets are not to be left unattended outside the RV
– Constant or frequent barking will result in you being asked to leave
– No dangerous breeds allowed in the park such as pit bulls, shepherds, dobermans, etc., that could harm someone or their pet
– Limit two (2) pets per lot
– Spots with excessive waste left will be subject to a $20/week fine
Electricity
– Electricity is included for daily, weekly and monthly stays
Late Payments
– $10.00 daily late fee may be applied beginning the day after due date and will continue until full payment is received
– Monthly reservations that are over 7 days late on payment will lose access to electricity and be subject to eviction
– Monthly reservations that pay weekly or twice a month will be charged a $15 convenience fee. There is no fee when paying in full monthly

Waiver of liability
As the primary guest making this reservation, you are responsible for all other guests staying at your site. You will be responsible if they are not following all policies. Hotel Turkey is NOT responsible for any incidents with other guests, pets, or any other person that is not affiliated with Hotel Turkey RV park.
